PA Summer Fayre

It was a perfectly beautiful day for our annual Summer Fayre and were so fortunate that the sun shone. There were lots of stalls, games and activties to particpate in including skittles, marble game, face painting and the bouncy castle. It was also great to see the fire brigade come along for the children (and adults) to have a look inside the tender engine and to hear how everything works. Well done to Charlie Kedward, Sophie Willard and Jeannie Reynolds, who won the Bake off competition. There were many lovely cakes Rev Rowe and Mrs Rowe had a hard time judging.

It was also great to have the Reception and Year 4 children perform their country dances. They entertained the crowds very well. Thank you to the children for giving up their time to come along and dance. Thank you to all of these people for came along to watch to them and support the fayre. The fayre was another successful event for the PA who have worked tirelessly on fund raising this year. The event raised a total of just over £3,115 (nearly £800 more than last year), which is a fantastic amount.

Thank you for all parents for their donations on Friday for our non uniform day as well as those who came and helped out setting up, on stalls and clearing up at the end of the day. Most of all thank you to the PA for organising the day.
