Pirates of the Curry-Bean

The Hall was packed on both nights for the terrific performances by the year 6 and 5 children in Pirates of the Curry-Bean. The audience was extremely appreciative of the efforts the children and staff have put in to make this yet another successful end of year show. Particular praise has to go to Chloe Gould, Brandon Martin-Hawley, Jamie Phillips (for his authentic pirate accent), Ailsa Antwis, Chris Drake, Evie King, Matthew Connock, Adam Keig and Jamie Haydon for their great singing; also fab comical timing by Mostyn Brett, Dylan Smallwood, Charles Hancock and Ben Hillier.

All of the children deserved to have lots of praise as the singing and acting was first rate. It was a pleasure watching the whole show, with such catchy songs and great jokes as well as fab costumes. Well done to everyone. A big thank you to Mrs Goode, Mrs Long, Mrs Duffy, Miss Winter and Mrs Jamieson for putting together the show. Thank you to all the parents for their support in learning lines and costumes as well. There are many more photos on the website in the Our School section – School Photos and the look for the Pirates of the Curry-Bean folder.
