PA Christmas Fayre 2013

The school looked lovely as the lights twinkled over the building lighting up the darkness. The fayre was opened in style with the great sounds of Year 5 and 6 singing Christmas carols as people entered the gates. Despite the cold evening there were plenty of visitors to the fayre, which proved as popular as ever. The warm and smells was provided the BBQ and the Mulled wine outside. The usual inside stalls were packed with goodies and items that sold very well over the two hours. Thank you to all parents who sent in their donations for the stalls as well as cakes and items for the tombola.                    class won the prize for the most items collected for the fayre.

Thank you also to the many parental volunteers who gave up their time to help set up, man the stalls and clear up after the fayre. It was a pleasure to see so many people in the Hall and down the corridor waiting to visit Father Christmas. Thank you to everyone who came and spent their money, the fayre raised approximately £???. A huge thank you to the PA who organised such a great evening and do so much to support the school. Also many thanks to the Clements family once again for our stunning Christmas tree that adorns the Hall.
