Arts Festival 2014

The whole school settled down in the Hall on Tuesday afternoon to be entertained by the talented children perform in the Arts Festival. There was dancing, singing, poetry reading and nursery rhymes from children all through the school. The standard was high as the competitors had come through the auditions in their own classes winning through to the final. The judging was very difficult but a decision had to be made.

So in third place were Jasper, Max and Joe from Year 5 with their self-written and beatboxed slam poetry, second place went to Harriet in Year 1 who played the piano beautifully. However, first place went to Ella and Riya in Year 6 for their rendition of the song ‘All of Me’, singing without any music except their own hand clapping accompaniment. They received the Laurie OIlliffe trophy.  Well done to everyone who took part.

There are many more pictures from throughout the week on the school website in Our School, School Photos section.
