Governors

Welcome to Almondsbury School Governors. We would like to introduce ourselves and explain how we work together with Paul Smith, our Headteacher and his staff to provide the best possible all-round education for our children.govs

As governors we are accountable to parents/carers and the wider community and therefore we are committed to providing you with information on the performance and management of the school. In support of this we have a ‘Documents’ section where you can find the minutes of our meetings and policies which have been recently reviewed. If you have a specific request to view a policy that is not yet in our file, please ask at the school office.

Communication

Answers to queries relating to the day-to-day running of the school should always be sought from teaching staff in the first instance – not from the Governors, whose role is primarily a strategic one.

Annual Report

We will be producing an annual report at the end of the year and we would be pleased to hear from you with any suggestions as to what you would like to have included or any other information you would like from us about the management and performance of the school.
