Welcome back to my wonderful new class: Year 1 and 2! We've had a brilliant start to the year and are enjoying our Brunel topic during Spring Term!

Sunday 14th May: PA Fun Run - starts at 10.30am

Monday 22nd May: KS1 Tour d'Almondsbury

Tuesday 23rd May: Sports Day: KS1 am; KS2 pm

Wednesday 24th May: Reserve Sports Day

Thursday 25th May: Last Day of term 5

Friday 26th May: INSET Day


Monday 5th June: Start of term 6 - Environmental week

Friday 9th June: Roller disco on KS1 playground; KS1 3.45pm; KS2 5.00pm

Saturday 24th June: Summer Fayre 12-2pm

Thursday 29th June: Cross country

Friday 7th July: Celebration picnic and afternoon

Tuesday 11th July: School performance of show pm

Wednesday 12th July: 7.30pm show

Thursday 13th July: Transition/ 'change-up' morning: Children experience their new classes for a morning session;    7.30pm show

Friday 14th July: Reports go home; Whole school Governor's Cake Sale; Sleepover camping on field

Friday 21st July: Leaver's assembly; Last day of term 6 and the school year.

Important information:

Thursday afternoons:

Term 1: Forest Schools; Term 2: Music & French; Term 3: Music & French; Term 4: Forest Schools; Term 5: Music & French; Term 6: usic & French.

Please ensure child has suitable water-proof clothing, a coat and wellies in school for their forest schools sessions.

PE dates: 

Monday & Friday.

Please ensure your child's PE kit remains in school throughout the term. Children will need daps and/or trainers for outdoor sessions. Stud earings must be taped over/ removed before school on PE days.

Dear Miss Sinclair The class website is great. Thank you for uploading all of the pictures. The activities look like a lot of fun. Also, providing the end notes is very useful and gives direction to parents of topics to teach at home. Great work Thanks, Nora
