Notice Board

Many of our children, particularly those with additional needs, have difficulty processing everyday sensory information. These sensory issues can be a real physical and emotional barrier to their learning and impact on their experience of school more widely. To fully support these children, we would like to create a sensory room that offers relaxation activities as well as visual, tactile and auditory stimulation. The room could be used by all children to develop a variety of skills, but ultimately it would enrich the provision for those children who are hyposensitive or hypersensitive to their surroundings.

We have been quoted £8000 for the project and Mrs Duffy is starting the fundraising by taking part in the S.Wales Three Peaks Challenge on 24th March. To support her, contributions can be made at:

www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/paul-smith-22 or you can make a contribution at the school office.

Please spread the word for us, particularly if you use social media or work for a company that may be able to support us. If you have any ideas or can help us with the actual fundraising, please let Mr Smith or Mrs Duffy know.
