Topic

Our topic this term is Natural Disasters. We have explored an atlas, made comparisons between our country and others around the world and have learnt about different climates and a range of natural disasters that occur. 

Science

Throughout our science sessions this term we have investigated rocks, soils and fossils. We have had the opportunity to investigate different rock types. We have created our own fossils and even tried to be archaeologists by getting chocolate chips out of cookies with just a toothpick for help. Have a look at our photos.

DT

During DT this term we designed and made torches. We investigated how circuits worked and looked at different torch designs. We created our own torches and tested them in the dark.

PE 

This term we have had an opportunity to learn basic cricket skills from ECB coaches. We have developed our passing and catching and started to learn the rules of rounders. Have a look at our photos.
